HASLEMERE BIOBLITZ 2019 - 28th to 30th June 2019

Meet:  At National Trust Swan Barn Farm GU27 2HU (accessed by Collards Lane, which leaves Petworth Road about 150m from the Town Hall).

 Route: Fields around the farm. Approx 1km, 90 minutes.

Theme: We will be using bat detectors to discover how many species we can find there have been some exciting new discoveries in the Haslemere area recently! We will also be monitoring moths and other insects attracted to the light of a moth trap. Please bring one torch per person.

Suitable for: Everyone aged 8 and over. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This walk may include some irregular ground, but we will make allowances for people with disabilities (e.g. wheelchair users) please contact us for details.

The leader is in charge of the event and their instructions must be followed.
It is important to be present for the introduction at the beginning.

It is the responsibility of participants to ensure that they are
physically fit enough to take part in the event they have chosen.

Sorry, dogs are not allowed.

Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn. It can turn cold after sunset.
Some parts may be wet underfoot.

You are responsible for your own personal safety;
the event is planned to be low in hazards and as safe as possible,
but it is attended at your own risk.
