HASLEMERE BIOBLITZ 2019 - 28th to 30th June 2019

9.00am Saturday 29th June: Wildlife Walk, for public

Meet:  At Haslemere Town Well (a short distance down signed path opposite Georgian Hotel on the High Street) 

Route: To Swan Barn Farm (National Trust), surrounding woods and return to Museum, where the results of overnight traps can be viewed.
Approx 2.5km, 90 minutes.
 

Theme: A general wildlife walk to discover what can be encountered around the farm in the morning. The route includes meadows, marshes, a pond, orchards, hedgerows and woodland. There will be opportunities for people to make their own finds. 

Suitable for: Everyone aged 8 and over. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This walk includes some gradients and irregular ground, and so may not be suitable for people with certain disabilities - please contact us for details. (Note that other BioBlitz sessions are suitable for wheelchair users).

Parking: The pay-and-display car park at Chestnut Avenue is closest.

The leader is in charge of the walk and their instructions must be followed.
It is important to be present for the introduction at the beginning.

It is the responsibility of participants to ensure that they are
physically fit enough to take part in the event they have chosen.

Sorry, dogs are not allowed.

Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn.
Some parts may be wet underfoot, and be aware of possible exposure to the sun.

the event is planned to be low in hazards and as safe as possible, but it is attended at your own risk.  We accept no liability for loss, accident or injury caused to any person during BioBlitz events.
