A 2 mile walk on private land alongside the
grassy bank of the River Rother, south of
Petworth, looking at reed beds, plants, riffles,
scrapes and bank-lowering, to reconnect the
River with its flood plain. Wellingtons
essential.
Directions: From Petworth, southwards on
A286 on Station Road, after ¼ mile take R
turn into Rotherbridge Lane. After ¼ mile at
junction on R take this to parking area that
will be signed.
